Interesting snippets from 2018 Singapore Kweichow Moutai Singing Competition!



What’s a competition without supporters? Each contestant even brought their own supporters to cheer for them, it was a magnificent scene! Our Moutai Fans had also gathered to watch the much anticipated “Moutai Singing Competition”.



Here comes the climax of the entire event – awards ceremony! All the contestants are standing on the stage holding each other’s hands while waiting for the host to announce the top 3 for the night!



After much considerations and careful selections, our top 3 winners and the “Most Popular Singer” Award have been announced! Congratulations!!

Champion – Cheng Xiao Gang (Fig 4 & 5), he impressed the panel judges with the song “Wu Kong”
1st Runner-up – Song Lin (Fig 6 & 7) sang “Hong Mei Gui”, charming the crowd with her sweet yet strong vocals
2nd Runner-up – Yu Fei (Fig 8 & 9) surprised the judges with the song “Li Bu Kai Ni”, as nobody expected such a petite figure could have so much strength in her vocals.
Lastly, congratulations to Cheng Xiao Gang! Not only did he win the championship but he also won the “Most Popular Singer” Award from the online voting activity. He is definitely the achiever of the night!

Every contestant who participated in the “Moutai Singing Competition” did their best, choosing the winners is really a difficult task. Therefore, our Chairman – Mr Charles Oon decided to give each contestant a bottle of Moutai! How generous! Everyone went home with their arms full with prizes. Lastly, we would like to thank everyone for putting in effort to make this Singing Competition a wonderful one!
