Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd was pleased to have invited all the patriotic and baijiu (white spirits) lovers to celebrate the China National Day together! Special thanks to the President of Singapore Go Academy (Fig 1, second left) for attending.

 

 

 

During the dinner reception, we set up the Baijiu Cocktail Bar offering Moutai and Wuliangye cocktails for our guests to enjoy and mingled around before dinner. 

 

 

It was a big crowd and people were happily toasting with baijiu! China 70th National Day was a rare occasion and thus its ability to gather everyone under one roof.

Singapore China Baijiu Pte Ltd Managing Director, Mr Charles Oon going around and using Kweichow Moutai baijiu to toast with every table, thanking them for attending the “70th anniversary of the founding of the Peoples Republic of China Gala Dinner”. There was a great applause when Mr. Charles Oon and Mr. Xiao Jianghua went up on stage and gave a toast to the crowd.

 

 

The lion dance was an indispensable element in the Chinese culture and the gala dinner started with a pair of LED luminous lion dance follwed by the traditional southern lion dance The LED lions was really amazing and ‘wow-ed’ the crowd. It was then followed by a beautiful Chinese dance performance. Everyone was enjoying the performances and felt proud of the Chinese art culture that we have.

 

 

There were a lot of Chinese cultural performances such as the lute and guzheng, singer Feng Xiaogang sang a few patriotic songs, modern violinist’s remixes and we even had guests who went up the stage to sing and even provided calligraphy work and poetry renditions. The Chinese were really a talented bunch!

 

 

Of course, there was a lucky draw too. The top 3 prizes were Kweichow Moutai, Sichuan Wuliangye and Sichuan National Cellar 1573 respectively. Not only did the lucky winners need to get chosen by their unique numbers, they still have to choose a lantern each which would decide what kind of prizes they were getting! Good food and baijiu with great performances and a lucky draw, A very entertaining and eventful evening.
